Installation & Downloads

The Panel Hub^® range has been designed to be installed with ease. We recommend either screwing the panels straight into the wall, using the correct fixings, through the acoustic felt or if you are looking to increase the sound properties further, screwing them into batons. If installing on ceilings, the panels can be screwed straight into ceiling joists.

When cutting your panels, it's important to check where you are cutting in relation to the backing staples. If you cut the panels close to the staples, you may notice some slats lifting away from the backing where the panel has been cut. This is completely normal and is quickly rectified by adding additional staples through the backing felt or using a grab adhesive on the back of the slats.

How to Install with Loctite Power Grab:

Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and smooth.
Apply adhesive in a zigzag pattern on the back of the panel.
Press the panel firmly onto the wall and hold for a few seconds.
Allow at least 24 hours for full adhesion.

How to Install with Gorilla Tape:

Ensure the wall is clean and dry.
Cut strips of tape and apply them to the back of the panel, covering the edges and center.
Press the panel firmly onto the wall.
For best results, apply pressure along the panel’s surface to secure it.

How do I install the panels?

It's easy to install the panels to fit any object! You only need to use couplers and a drilling machine to glue to the wall. Then use a sharp, fine-toothed saw to cut the panels and slats. If you're cutting the back only, cutting the mesh with a utility knife will cut through the panels quickly.

Do you produce custom panel sizes?

We do not currently offer the panels in custom sizes; however, we have designed them to be easily cut if you need smaller or they can be joined if you need to cover larger areas.

Can the panels be used in a bathroom or kitchen?

The panels will be absolutely fine in these areas if a water resistant finish is added and they are not in direct contact with water

Do I install plug sockets, windows, or other stuff around?

It is straightforward to install the panels to fit around any object! Simply use a sharp, fine-tooth saw to cut through the panels and slats. If you are only cutting through the backing, scoring the mesh with a utility knife will quickly cut down the panels.

On which surfaces can I install the panels?

You can mount the panels on any flush serface. Ensure the surface is smooth, clean and dust-free for the best adhesion.

How do I hide the edges of the panel?

The panels have been designed to have the edge exposed, with the wood finish visible on all sides of the slat.

Can I hide wires behind the panels?

If you want to hide wires behind the panels, we recommend installing them on a timber frame. Please get in touch with us for more details.
